We’ve all seen it. A family business with a website from 2011. A transport company managing bookings by phone. A retailer losing online sales because their site loads in 8 seconds on mobile. The problem isn’t that these businesses don’t want to fix it — it’s that every agency they talk to either quotes them $50,000, disappears after taking a deposit, or sends a project manager who can’t answer a single technical question.
We built Handwerk Studio because we believed there was a better way. Small and medium businesses deserve the same quality of digital work that big enterprises get — without the bloated agency overhead, the account managers, or the endless meetings. Just direct, honest work from people who actually know what they’re doing.
We keep our team small deliberately. Every project is led by senior developers you can talk to directly. We don’t promise timelines we can’t keep, we don’t quote prices that don’t match what we deliver, and we don’t disappear when something goes wrong.
The name Handwerk means “craft” in German — and that’s the standard we hold ourselves to. We take pride in the things we build. We care that they work properly, look right, and do what they’re supposed to do long after we’ve handed them over.
